WHY MEDIA

It is projected that the total employment in the Media & Entertainment industry in India itself would increase from about 1 to 1.1 million persons in 2008 to about 4 to 4.1 million persons in 2022, an incremental human resource requirement of about 3 million persons

ABOUT SEAMEDU

Seamedu is a full-fledged media school based in Pune, founded in 2008 to produce world-class talent in Media & Entertainment (M & E) fields of Digital Filmmaking, Animation, Game Design, Visual Effects, Sound Design, Broadcast Media, and Broadcast Journalism.

Seamedu focus is to bridge the gap between the industry and academia by offering industry relevant courses in all major specializations. All programs are meticulously planned with strategic involvement from industry personalities ,Artists & Technicians at every stage of the program, and are delivered by professionals with vast experience in the respective fields. To Keep both students & parents happy , a Three-year BA (Journalism & Mass Communication) degree program is offered in association with Sikkim Manipal University (SMU-DE), with additional specialization in Digital & Animation Film Making, TV Journalism and Sound Engineering. In association with Avagmha and Annamalai University, Seamedu also offers MBA in the Media & Entertainment.

Seamedu team comprises of industry experts with immense industry and academia exposure; and has a combined 100+ year experience in the Animation, Gaming, VFX, Film Making, TV, Journalism & Sound Design fields. Faculties have national & international experience, coming from FTII, Sydney Film School, New York Film School, Vancouver Film School & having work experiences with Prana, Rhythm & Hue, Pixion, Crest,TATA Elxsi etc.
