The ever-evolving Media and Journalism Industry has recently witnessed convergence in the Journalism industry, bringing all three mediums - Print, Radio, and Television - to the digital platform together. Convergence has mainly created a need for trained multi-tasking professionals who can synthesize, formulate, produce and deliver content. Therefore, a need for a program which strikes a proper balance between conventional journalism theories and production techniques is realized. Our MAJMC | Media Production program, masters in mass media courses, and mass media PG courses aims to produce a workforce that understands the true spirit of Journalism' and knows how and where to implement this knowledge and skills, ultimately resulting in an effective media production. The program's main objective is to produce a workforce which can acquire the news sense, critically understand the issues in society, follow journalistic ethics and rope in all these learning, and create their content for various mediums. With the advent of digital platforms, there is an opportunity for independent journalists and content creators to ideate their content; therefore, having technical skills is considered an added advantage for creating and producing your content. The program aims at giving detailed knowledge of traditional journalism subjects and technological skills.

What is Media Production?
Content is the key in Journalism and mass communication. One needs to understand the art of creating quality content in words, photos, or audio-visuals. The knowledge of basic camera operations and editing skills is necessary for generating content.
