Career Counselling in Sound Engineering

The faculty members, who are experts and practitioners in various domains of sound, such as sound engineering, music production, sound design, film scoring, and audio education, gave captivating presentations that showcased their work and their journey in the audio world. They also shared some of the challenges and opportunities that they faced and how they overcame them with their skills and passion. They also gave valuable tips and advice to the students on how to prepare themselves for a successful career in sound. The presentations were followed by a Q&A session where the students asked various questions related to the curriculum, the admission process, the placements, the industry trends, and the future of sound. The faculty members answered them with clarity and enthusiasm and also encouraged them to explore their own creativity and potential.

After the Q&A session, the students were taken on a tour of our world-class facilities, which include our iMac lab that has the latest software and hardware for sound editing and mixing, and our ATMOS-equipped Recording Studio that has state-of-the-art equipment and technology for recording and producing high-quality sound. The students were amazed by the facilities and expressed their excitement to use them for their own projects and assignments. They also got to see some of the work samples of our current students and alumni who have created amazing soundtracks and compositions for various media platforms, such as films, games, podcasts, web series, etc. The work samples demonstrated the diversity and versatility of our sound engineering program and the talent and creativity of our students. The tour gave the students a realistic and inspiring picture of what it means to study and work in a professional and dynamic environment that nurtures innovation and excellence.

The career counseling session was a huge success and we received very positive feedback from the students who participated. Many of them expressed their keen interest in joining our sound engineering program and becoming a part of our vibrant and supportive community of audio professionals. We are glad that this session helped them to gain more clarity and confidence about their career choices and motivated them to follow their dreams in the field of sound.
