Masterclass for Film-Making Degree Students

A remarkable journey unfolded at one of the best filmmaking institutes in India Seamedu as renowned filmmaker Mr. Vikrant Pawar led an inspiring preproduction workshop at its Bangalore Branch. Over two enlightening days (the 22nd to the 23rd of August in 2023), students from the Bachelor in Filmmaking program embarked on a profound exploration of the intricacies of filmmaking, forging a path toward exceptional achievements in the realm of cinema. 

Right from the commencement of the workshop, Mr. Vikrant Pawar skillfully immersed our students in his unique approach to decoding the art of filmmaking. Initially, the students had prepared stories based on their prior knowledge, unaware of the academic challenges that lay ahead. They enthusiastically presented their narratives and screenplays to Mr. Pawar, who, with the patience of a true mentor, attentively absorbed every word.

Upon the conclusion of the students’ presentations, Mr. Vikrant Pawar enhanced their thinking capabilities to the next level. The workshop evolved into a fascinating exploration of character decoding and the logistical complexities of filmmaking. Mr. Pawar's thought-provoking questions challenged the students to delve deep into the recesses of their creative minds, fostering critical introspection.

The atmosphere throughout the workshop was characterized by intense engagement between Mr. Vikrant Pawar and the students, creating moments of revelation for everyone present including faculty members of the Film Making course at Seamedu.
