Artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a potent and revolutionary force in a variety of industries, and the world of art is definitely no exception. The environment of art has been significantly changed by AI technologies, which now affect both the creation of art and how it is experienced. Artists and AI aficionados are pushing the envelope of what is possible, redefining what we understand as graphic design and AI in art and design and exploring uncharted creative worlds by utilizing machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and other AI in Visual art approaches. This essay examines in-depth the significant impacts of AI on art and its numerous contributions. Because of its presence in art galleries alongside traditional fine art, digital art and overall AI in Visual art has never been easier to access and more appealing to the modern audience that prefers the tactile experience of art.

It's also worth noting that as our world becomes more digitised and virtual, there will be a greater market for digital and virtual commodities like design communication fine art NFTs. One issue with this lack of recognition is that digital art requires the same level of creativity and technical ability as more traditional art genres. Given that the core concept of AI in art and design is the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination in a generally visible medium, it appears ludicrous that AI in art and design was not recognised as legitimate art. An image of Lord Ram has gone viral on social media. It has been claimed about the picture that at the age of 21, Lord Rama looked like this. This picture was taken by AI. Sharing the picture on social media, it is being claimed that this picture of Lord Ram has been generated by AI on the basis of the description given in all the texts including Valmiki Ramayana, Ramcharitmanas. People are giving a reaction on social media about the picture. But many are misinformed. Let us know what the form of Lord Rama looked like.

Artists from a range of disciplines such as graphic design and visual design now rely on AI as a helpful AI in design creative partner. Artists can use AI tools and algorithms to generate new ideas, explore uncharted area, and experiment with novel techniques. Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), an AI-powered technology, assist artists in creating unique and captivating works of art. These algorithms may evaluate existing works of art, identify trends, and create new works that adhere to similar stylistic principles or contradict recognised artistic rules. Collaborations between AI in art and design systems and artists blur the line between human and machine production, yielding interesting and thought-provoking results.

Several well-known Indian artists have been experimenting with artificial intelligence (AI) in their work. Here are some noteworthy examples:

Raghav KK: Raghav KK is a storyteller and multimedia artist. Currently employed at 64/1, an art curation and research collective dedicated to increasing public understanding of how artists and artificial intelligence may collaborate to create art for the post-human era. Raghava's work spans traditional genres of painting, installation, and performance, as well as new media (artificial intelligence, neuro-feedback, biohacking, board and video games, crypto currencies, and so forth) to express post-human contemporary realities.

Harshit Agrawal: Harshit Agrawal is an Indian artist noted for his creative usage of artificial intelligence in his work. He fuses traditional art forms with AI in art and design technology to create interactive installations and pieces that challenge spectators' perceptions of reality.

Prateek Arora: Prateek Arora is an Indian screenwriter and head of development for Bang Bang, a global content company from India that recently redefined itself as a global content company with an overall goal of “decentralizing Hollywood” and bringing South Asian stories to the world stage.

Auria Kathi: It is an AI bot-artist, was created by Bengaluru-based designer Fabin Rasheed and Kochi-based engineer Sleeba Paul. It was granted a public identity at the beginning of 2019, with profiles on the social media platforms Instagram and Twitter, as well as a website. The bot's profile photograph, as well as the short poetry and abstract artworks it shared on a daily basis, were generated by AI. The bot was fed approximately 350,000 haiku instances to train itself to make artificial poems on its own, while the visuals were created using a text-to-image GAN that produced abstract art after being trained on a dataset of 4,000 selected artworks.

Amitabh Kumar: Amitabh Kumar is an Indian artist and educator who has vast experience with artificial intelligence and digital media. Through his installations and performances, he investigates the convergence of art, technology, and society, frequently involving AI in Visual art algorithms and generative processes.

Please keep in mind that the topic of AI in Visual art is quickly expanding, and there may be additional outstanding Indian artists who have explored AI in art and design in their artistic practice today.
