Industrial Design focuses on designing products that are functional, manufacturable, and user-centered, with strong emphasis on materials, ergonomics, production processes, and system thinking. It bridges creativity with engineering and industry requirements.


The program is a 4-year full-time undergraduate degree, divided into 8 semesters, including studio projects, industrial training, and a final-year thesis.


Candidates must have completed 12+ (any stream) from a recognized board. Admission may include an entrance process, portfolio review, or interview as per university norms.


Students participate in design workshops, industry visits, competitions, exhibitions, design clubs, and interdisciplinary activities, helping them enhance creativity, practical skills, and professional exposure.


Graduates can work as Industrial Designers, Product Designers, Furniture Designers, Automotive Designers, UX Designers, CAD Designers, Prototyping Specialists, and Design Consultants across manufacturing, consumer products, mobility, and innovation sectors.

My experience at Seamedu has been very wonderful till now. I studied BCA Game development here. There are experienced faculties to teach the game programming and design with a great placement support team, and companies do come for placements, like really nice companies. I really recommend this institute to pursue game development as a career.
